Why moving $ZEN to Horizen EON before the migration and what to do with $ZEN

Horizen 2.0 is approaching and the seamless migration for your $ZEN will be to have them on Horizen EON already.

On Horizen EON, you can swap, trade, and stake your $ZEN easily thanks to its EVM feature.

When Horizen 2.0 reaches the mainnet, a lot of zkdApps should be available, as Horizen 2.0 is the home for zkdApps, thanks to its close connection with zkVerify.

Move $ZEN to Horizen EON

The process is very simple. To get ZEN on Horizen EON you will need to perform a forward transfer. To do so, you need to have your ZEN on the Sphere By Horizen wallet.

Secure your ZEN

This is not a mandatory but a recommended step. You can use your hardware wallet to sign the transaction that happens in your browser wallet, like MetaMask.

There is a tutorial to show you how to secure your ZEN on MetaMask thanks to Ledger, but the process can also be done on Rabby wallet, Rainbow wallet, Math wallet, which are also compatible with Horizen EON.

Note that it’s also possible with some other hardware wallet. Please refer to the documentation of your hardware wallet, or browser wallet.

Stake your $ZEN

You can stake your $ZEN in a pool or a forger node.

To stake $ZEN on a pool, or use it for DeFi, you’ll need to visit all the dApps existing on Horizen EON and make your choice.

When you stake your $ZEN on a forger node, you participate in the security of the network.

You can either host the node yourself if you’re a developer.

Or you can select a node provider to delegate your ZEN. Connect your wallet to their webpage and follow their steps to do so.

Trade your $ZEN

Do you want to have your $ZEN available for trading?

It’s possible with Horizen EON.

There are several swap and bridge dApps to perform this action.

You can for example use Spooky Swap and Archon, or use Interport to swap and bridge your tokens in one transaction.

This is not an exhaustive list, so please check all the dApps on Horizen EON to make your choice.

Don’t forget that the community and the team can answer all your questions.
