Introduction and Background
Hello everyone,
after giving it a lot of thought over the past weeks, I decided to run for re-election for the Special Council.
My name is Domenico and I am from Italy. I have been part of the Horizen community since the early days when the project was still known as ZenCash. Over the years, I have closely followed the evolution of the ecosystem and have actively participated in community discussions and technical support activities.
I have always believed strongly in the importance of an active and informed community, and I have tried to contribute to that by helping users and participating in the growth of the Horizen ecosystem.
Experience in Web3 and with Horizen
I have been involved in the crypto space since 2017, with a strong interest in the technical side of blockchain technologies. I discovered Horizen in early 2018 through the secure node ecosystem and quickly became deeply involved in the community.
Over the years, I have helped hundreds of users solve technical issues on Discord and Telegram, assisting with node setup, wallets, and various software-related topics. I have also contributed to the community as an Ambassador, moderator, and technical support member.
During my time serving the Horizen ecosystem, my goal has always been to help users better understand the technology and make the ecosystem more accessible to the community.
What I Would Bring to the Special Council
My main strength is my deep connection with the community and my technical understanding of the Horizen ecosystem.
Through years of direct interaction with users, I have developed a clear understanding of the challenges the community faces and the areas where communication and support can be improved. I believe this perspective is valuable within the Special Council, where it is important to balance governance decisions with the needs of the ecosystem and its users.
If re-elected, I will continue working to strengthen communication between the community, developers, and governance.
My goal is to help keep Horizen a collaborative and community-driven ecosystem while supporting its long-term growth.
