Special council candidate: Manon

I am happy to announce that I am running for the Horizen Special Council.

My experience with ZEN

You know me as the mother of cats, sometimes also called ZEN mom. I was part of the Horizen project for six years, from 2018 to 2024. I am an early ZEN bird.

I met the team several times when I was part of the foundation: in Milan, when I was traveling there alone, and at the superb and unique Horizen & Horzen Labs event in New York.

When I was working for the Horizen Foundation, one of my last responsibilities was leading the ambassador program. Some of them are part of the Horizen Special Council today. We succeeded in keeping our strongest members in the project and giving them power and a voice. What more can we expect from a DAO?

I am a French speaker and translated a lot of content into French, from white papers to blog posts.

In November 2024, I had to leave the Horizen Foundation. I ran in the March 2025 cohort and did not run in September 2025. Now that I have more time to focus on Horizen, I think it’s time for me to come back and help the community again. It has always been a good time to be part of and defend the Horizen community.

Why will I bring to the ZEN DAO

The project has changed over the years, but all the reasons that brought me here are still at the heart of it: dedication to privacy and building a strong DAO (from idea to realization).

I will be here to bring debate, make sure the community is heard. I am also here to help community to make ZenIPs, from scratch if necessary. We need more projects to build on Horizen, and I’ll be here to make sure they can, and do.

  • Community at the center

The DAO is precious, and I am among those who believe that we can always do better. Horizen can’t be just one DAO. I believe in constructive debate as a way to strengthen and improve our governance.

  • Education and awarness

A project gains real support only when its value is understood. Horizen operates in a niche market, and educating others about the technologies we build with is not always easy. This is why we have a responsibility to continuously engage newcomers and clearly communicate Horizen’s purpose and long-term vision.

  • Long-term vision

Long-term vision is essential for Horizen’s sustainability and growth. We need to position the project not only for today’s community, but for the institutional players and developers who are looking for robust, privacy-focused infrastructure. Attracting builders and serious partners requires clarity, stability, and strong governance. If we want Horizen to thrive in the years ahead, we must actively engage those who are ready to build on it and contribute to its long-term development.

A little more about me

Now, I am working as a writer for Tahiti Cryptomonnaies. I take time to train and develop both existing and new skills.

This gap year allowed me to take time away from the screens. Now, I don’t only deep dive into blockchain projects — I also became a diver with a FFESSM Level 4. That means I can also guide you in the ocean

I am available for questions and remarks.

Thank you for reading me.

Let’s keep building together !

I have been lucky to be working together with @Manon for years! She has done a lot to advance ZEN in in our French-speaking community as well as for BD and Marketing generally. Best of luck in elections!
