Good morning ZEN family! My name is Paul Mihalache amd I recently marked 10 years since my first leap of faith into blockchain technology. My journey began in 2015, when I was captivated by Bitcoin’s revolutionary potential. That initial spark soon drew me into the Ethereum ecosystem, and my path evolved further during the transformative DeFi summer of 2020. It was then that I embraced a new chapter as a blockchain content creator.
In August 2020, I discovered Horizen and immediately connected with its vision, proudly becoming a Zenvangelist. Over the years, I have served this community in many roles—Ambassador, activity coordinator, event organizer, and contributor. Today, I am honored to serve as a Community Steward, continuing to support the growth and success of Horizen.
When the Horizen blockchain advanced toward the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) through EON, I was an early supporter and testnet participant. From hands-on testing to spreading awareness, I actively championed this transformative upgrade.
Now, I am proud to announce my candidacy for the DAO Council. My goal is to continue contributing to Horizen’s growth while helping shape its next chapter.
The launch of zkVerify was another pivotal milestone, and I was fortunate to contribute by publishing content that highlighted its significance. As a Moderator in the zkVerify Discord, I also helped foster an active and engaged community around this innovation.
Horizen is uniquely positioned to redefine the crypto landscape. The Base migration opened an entirely new frontier, and I believe the future lies in expanding our presence across multiple platforms while forging strategic partnerships with leading protocols. Expanding social media engagement and collaborating with blue-chip projects will create fresh dynamics within the ecosystem—initiatives I am eager to advance.
My alignment with the Base ecosystem is strong, with a wide network of contacts in Virtuals as well as top-tier protocols such as Across Protocol, PoolTogether, and Harvest Finance. Academically, I hold two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree in management and marketing, alongside numerous crypto-focused courses and certifications.
Recently, I have explored the growing SocialFi landscape, where Mindshare appears to be the new meta. Projects like Kaito are building interconnected platforms, and I believe Horizen should adopt a multi-platform strategy. We are Based!
There is no single formula for success, but I am ready to dedicate my experience, knowledge, and skills in service of the Horizen DAO Council. Together, we can continue building a stronger, more dynamic ecosystem.
