The voting for ZenIP 42409: Addendum – Horizen 2.0 Tokenomics Proposal has officially concluded, and the outcome was clear. The community showed strong support, with 99.39% voting in favor (1.1 million ZEN) and 0.61% voting against (6.9K ZEN). Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in the discussion and cast their vote your involvement is essential to how Horizen moves forward.

This marks more than just a technical update it reflects a broader shift in how Horizen operates and grows. By integrating into the Base ecosystem, Horizen is positioning itself to bring privacy-focused applications to a wider audience, while giving ZEN holders new ways to engage with DeFi.

With the approval of this proposal, we’re looking ahead to the next phase: Horizen 2.0 mainnet launch.

Thanks to everyone who supported this and came out to vote, even if you disagreed with the proposal. Just participating in governance is a big win for all of us, but I’m also extremely happy for this revision to tokenomics that aligns with the mission for bringing a privacy layer to the Base ecosystem.
