The vote on **[ZenIP 42406 Addendum](https://snapshot.box/#/s:horizenfoundationtechnical.eth/proposal/0xebee8c34ab7e7745eabf2fa3c867133d6332421338b13d6714c2475c5c23cb34)**, which proposed migrating **$ZEN and EON to Base as a Layer 3 appchain** , has officially concluded.

✅ **FOR:**  **1.1 Million**  
❌ **AGAINST:**  **3.1K**  
⚪ **ABSTAIN:**  **0**

Quorum: 135%

📅 **Vote Ended:** February 23, 2025, at 8:07 PM

With **321 total votes cast** and an overwhelming majority in favor, the proposal has **successfully passed**.

The relocation will happen in a matter of months. It’s already happening in various components:

1. Working through $ZEN migration strategy and tooling to Base
2. Working with exchanges to support the new Base-based token
3. Testnet already set up for us to work with early partner deployments
4. BD working on the first set of high profile use cases

It’s all coming together nicely. There’s a Tokenomics 2.0 Addendum ZenIP Idea posted yesterday for us to work through as a community, then comes an updated tech/prod roadmap, and deployment timelines and campaigns.
