# Stay safe on EVM with Revoke.cash

# Why use Revoke.cash?

[Revoke.cash](https://revoke.cash/) is a dApp that helps you totally disconnect from other dApps.

When you use DeFi, you usually have your funds on a browser wallet, like MetaMask

Even if you are using legitimate tools, these tools can be hacked, and a malicious person can use your dApp access to steal your funds.

# So, how do you use Revoke.cash?

The first step is to go to the Revoke.cash website, click “Connect wallet” and select your wallet.

The 2 next steps will occur on the wallet you selected, here, I chose MetaMask. You’ll need to click on “Next” to connect the Revoke.cash dApp, and then on “Confirm”, **after reading carefully the permissions**.

Then, go back to Revoke.cash webpage, and check all the granted permissions on all the networks. When you see permission active, you can revoke it by simply clicking on the “Revoke” button.

Then, approve on your wallet, and check Revoke.cash website to see if the permission is well revoked. And that’s it, so simple as that.

I recommend you to often check the existing permissions.
